The Music Theatre of Connecticut was founded in 1987 as a nonprofit organization providing children and teens with instructions and a chance to perform in the performing arts. Children ages 4 to 18 may take classes in musical theater, acting, improvisation, acting for the camera, voice and dance. The Music Theatre of Connecticut puts on seven musical theater productions a year, giving students a chance to perform for an audience, and is available to host birthday parties.
