MTM Transportation's mission is to provide Newtown's students with a safe and pleasurable trip with a company of experienced, educated and friendly drivers and aides. MTM Transportation is certified in Child Passenger Safety, and retains an instructor certified by the State of Connecticut in Child Passenger Safety Training in School Buses, in addition to a supervisor with specialized training in drug and alcohol testing regulations and sexual harassment.
MTM Transportation mechanically maintains Type I buses, Type II buses, a three-wheelchair bus, a two-wheelchair buses, a one wheelchair bus and vans by certified school bus mechanics. The company provides students with transportation to and from school within Newtown, CT and schools located in other districts, as well as providing transportation for special events. All drivers and aides are First Aid and CPR certified.
