The Monroe Adult Education Program is open to all town residents and people living in surrounding areas.
Classes are held at Masuk High School and are free to Monroe residents. Non-residents must pay a $5 fee to participate.
Gail Persico is director of the program, which offers basic education, English as a second language, a high school equivalency program, a high school credit diploma program, citizenship classes, a literacy volunteer program, free testing and counseling.
The adult education program is offered in cooperation with Valley Regional Adult Basic Education.
