Master's Manna has been providing community outreach services to the Greater Wallingford Community since 2006. Services include a soup kitchen, food pantry, clothes closet, laundry & bathing facilities, a diaper bank, resource center, medical transportation, a free clinic, dental hygiene services, behavioral health therapy sessions, and classes such as sewing, cooking, resume preparation and job interview preparation. Under the dedication of two staff members and 140 volunteers, the center provides assistance and support for thousands of residents. In 2009 alone, it had more than 3,200 clients come through its doors. Master's Manna welcomes donations of goods or financial support and offers volunteer opportunities for all ages, including assisting in the food pantry, collecting food from collection sites, sorting and hanging donated clothes, answering phones, preparing food, teaching a class, writing grants, sponsoring a food drive, delivering groceries and more.
