ABOUT LOTUS THAI RESTAURANT Bringing the taste of Thailand to Stratford, Connecticut... come experience exotic herbs and spices from Thailand. Lotus Thai specializes in traditional Thai food such as Pad Thai ( thin rice noodles ), Drunken Noodle ( thick rice noodles ), fried crispy Red Snapper, Spicy Duck, Red/Green Coconut Curry sauce with chicken, beef, or pork. We prepare our cooking ingredients the same day, every day, using only fresh herbs and spices such as kaffir lime leaves, basil leaves, chinese bok choy, papaya salad, tofu, and various exotic herbs and spices from South East Asia. We do not use MSG, saturated butter fat, or heavy oil in our foods thereby giving you only healthy choices. Our cooking method is steamed, sauteed, or grilled and every meal is prepared with great care for your enjoyment. We are Vegetarian friendly and cook with items such as bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, baby spanich, lychee, and many others. Lotus offers 'spicy * star * rating' system that you can control the spiciness of your meals...from one star to four stars, you pick the spiciness. Whether it is a family gathering, a birthday bash, or an office meeting, Lotus Thai is a great place to be for your dining experience. We can seat up to 70 people in our dining area and tables can be joined to accommodate large parties of eight or twelve dinner reservations are highly recommended for large parties especially for Friday and Saturday nights. Other seating arrangements can also be accomodated at our Bar area and yes you can order food right from the bar. We have a full bar which serves up a variety of wine, beer, and mixed drinks...
