The Ledyard Police Animal Control Office investigates incidents involving domestic animals, and is charged with the care and well-being of all animals taken into its facility. Under the direction of animal control officer Kimlyn Marshall, the office exists to prevent cruelty, abuse and neglect of animals by enforcing all state, county and town ordinances. The office is committed to placing homeless animals in safe and loving homes, and works to educate the public on animal issues to foster a more knowledgeable and caring community.
