Holy Family Church, at 700 Old Stratfield Road, is one of seven Catholic churches in Fairfield overseen by the Bridgeport Roman Catholic Diocese.
The Mass schedule in the spring of 2010 was 7:30 a.m. Monday through Friday; 4:30 p.m. Saturday; and 7:30 a.m., 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Holy Family Church also has a school for students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade at 140 Edison Ave., which is around the corner from the church, and Larry Fitzgerald is the school's principal. The school opened in 1960 and has 163 students.
The building that houses Holy Family Church was built in 1941 on 1.4 acres, according to town land records.
The pastor at Holy Family Parish is Fr. Guido G. Montanaro, and the Parochial Vicar is Fr. Edward Small. Deacons are Stephen Sebestyen and Joseph DeBiase; Sebestyen also serves as the director of religious education.
