History
The house and grounds we designed were most enjoyable for my wife and I. Unfortunately I lost her 3 years after we moved in. At first I sat alone in the large house and realized it would be nice to have guests come and enjoy what was here and I could enjoy their being here by caring for them. I am especially pleased to have helped organize and plan family gatherings and weddings, and see them so joyous.
Specialties
I'm an architect widower with a love of are caring for my historic homes and gardens and making my guests as comfortable as possible. The houses are as they were when built in 1795 with the exception of modern kitchens and baths. The taste of an architect and artist (my late wife was an artist) are reflective in beautiful colors, a mix of modern and historic furnishings and classic and worldly art works. The spacious gardens, lawns and woods are colorful throughout the year. Many enjoy relaxing or reading in a private patio, under the 100-year old maples, in the gazebo or while lying on the grass in the sun.
