Head O'Meadow School offers a variety of educational and instructional curriculum. It has more than 500 students in kindergarten through grade four. The school has a range of departments, such as arts, computers, library, mathematics, music reading, resources and special education. Its library provides several books, encyclopedias, dictionaries, textbooks, and special reading lists that include The Spider and the Fly, Hondo & Fabian, The Dinosaurs of Waterhouse Hawkins and Kitten's First Full Moon. Additionally, its library has a birthday book club that has a large collection of birthday books. It has a school community team and parent-teacher association. The school is located in Newtown, Conn., and is a part of Newtown Public Schools.
