History
Hartford Sweat opened its doors, FIRST, as Bikram Yoga Downtown Hartford in the Spring of 2012. After 3 blissful years of primarily focusing on the practice of Bikram Yoga, our original studio was demolished by a devastating flood in the building we were housed in. Our owner, Natasha, persevered through and created Hartford Sweat. The decision was made to move to a new home, now at 777 Main Street, and to re-open the doors (May 2016) with Bikram Yoga, Barre, Zumba and a full third studio room dedicated to the practices of Vinyasa/Power, Yin, Restorative, All-levels, Gentle and Ashtanga Yoga. The flood was absolutely a blessing in disguise! Now Hartford Sweat is able to provide yoga, health and wellness to all modalities and practice preferences. Hartford Sweat offers variety that keeps you satisfied, while keeping consistency and quality at the core of every class. We look forward to many continued years of keeping greater Hartford happy and healthy!
