Established in 1903, the Glenville Volunteer Fire Company has served the Town of Greenwich for more than a century. Volunteers operate out of Station 4 and undergo 300 hours of training each year.
The Greenwich Fire Department is a combination of professional volunteers and uniformed career fire fighters who respond to more than 4,000 emergency calls each year. The department operates out of eight firehouses and draws upon the help of some 250 firefighters.
