History
Franklin Construction was created by Francesco Tagliatela in 1917. He built single family and multi-family houses. Under Louis Tagliatela Sr.'s leadership, the company began doing general contract work. Eventually, the company focused on building apartment communities in Greater New Haven.

Franklin Construction builds, owns, and manages Saybrook Point Inn, Marina & Spa, North Haven Health & Racquet, and several apartment communities in Hamden, North Haven, and New Haven.
