The First Church of Round Hill traces its roots back to the early 1800s, when Methodist Circuit Riders established a regular preaching circuit, which included Round Hill.
The congregation was established in 1810 and the church building's original frame was formally dedicated in 1828. The church has since moved across the street, grown in size and been refurbished.
Sunday worship service is held weekly at 10am and Holy Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of the month.
The music program from September to June features an all-professional, six-person vocal ensemble.
Sunday school is available for children and middle school and high-school students are invited to take part in the church's youth groups and events.
Outreach projects are coordinated by parishioners both locally and abroad. Annual events include a holiday dinner and toy drive at Christmas time.
