The Farmington Historical Society, founded in 1954, is the keeper of Farmington's history and works to keep it alive by educating others.
Housed in the Gridley-Case cottages in Farmington Village, the society hosts lectures, exhibits, events and tours of the Underground Railroad and local sites related to the Amistad.
To find out about the town's rich heritage in the abolitionist movement, women's rights or the town's fathers, the Farmington Historical Society has the answers and is happy to share.
