The Mountain Church of God asks its congregation to "get on fire to lift Jesus higher" with motivational programs that encourage participation, such as Sunday Hot Preaching Finale with music from House of Grace, and Thursday's Liven it Up with Rev. Everton Anderson, who has a background in gospel. On Friday nights, the Spirit Song Music Ministry from Waterbury, CT joins the congregation, as regular guest musicians, preachers and speakers come to the church to compliment the devoted Evangelist members. There's even a women's night every Sunday at 7pm. The Mountain Church of God is affiliated with the Insight Ministries, and is a declared 501c Religious Corporation.
