About F & F Concrete CorporationDuring the post-World War II building boom, Ralph A. Forgione and Jack Foley founded F & F Concrete Corporation in 1953. Ralph and Jack had been in the Army together during and after World War II.Through to the mid-1980s F & F Concrete not only supplied concrete but also maintained a concrete forming division, headed by Jack Foley. In the mid-1980s F & F Concrete decided to concentrate on expanding its readi-mix production. The concrete plant was originally located on Buckland Street in Plantsville, Connecticut while the garage was located nearby at 110 West Main Street. In 1989, F & F Concrete moved its production to a new Erie-Strayer concrete batching plant at its 110 West Main Street property.Throughout its history F & F has updated its plant operations and fleet. Its batching operations are completely automated utilizing the Alkon Corporation's concrete batching system in coordination with computerized dispatching and billing software and a combination computerized and radio-contact truck tracking system.
