EDUCATION CONNECTION is a regional service center that provides educational services to school districts in western Connecticut. The center supports special education, Head Start and technology training programs. It also supports alternative education programs for middle and high school students with behavioral disorders. EDUCATION CONNECTION offers English as a Second Language classes and alternative education programs. The center s employment program includes support and services for individuals with disabilities. It also designs and implements a variety of services for high school students to facilitate the transition process from schools to community-based adult life. The center additionally offers meals and transportation. EDUCATION CONNECTION maintains offices in Litchfield and Danbury, Conn.
