The first parcel was sold in 1985 and today Conyers Farm is one of Greenwich's most exclusive addresses. Less than 100 homes spread out over 1,500 acres and all sites are at least ten acres, some are as large as 20. The name of the development dates back to the early 20th Century when Edmund Converse used the English spelling of his name to describe his newly-acquired property. Although his original manor house burned down, some of the outbuildings remain and have been restored by residents. The stunning grounds include a 100-acre lake, polo field, grandstand and clubhouse.
