Trackside is the Teen Center of Wilton, located just up the road from the town's train station. Under the supervision of Executive Director Mark Ketley and Program Director Brett Beatty, the not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization is dedicated to promoting positive, substance-free activities and opportunities for pre-teens and teens in town. It focuses on helping young Wiltonians develop social skills and social competence, strong morals, and enhanced self-esteem. The town of Wilton provides some of the money for staffing costs, but Trackside raises most of its own funds through a variety of events and public donations. It hosts weekly "open hours" for sixth through eighth graders from 3pm to 6pm, as well as various events like Driver's Education classes, dances, and retreats.
