The current church building for the Christ Church Tashua was erected in 1846, and its Simmons-McIntyre tracker organ was installed in 1849. The organ is recognized by the National Organ Historical Society and is still played every Sunday, according to the church's Web site.
Christ Church Tashua also still has original Bible and Book of Common Prayer that was received by the church in 1762 on display inside. The church was added to the National Registry of Historic Places in 2001.
The Rev. Louise Kalemkerian is interim rector.
