The Castle Craig Players are a group of volunteers who put on five or six productions a year in the Almira F. Stephan Memorial Playhouse. Many members of the group have considerable theater experience. The actors give six to eight performances of each show.
The theater seats 80 for most performances on a first-come, first-served basis. Children, however, sit up front in reserved seats. Audience members can reserve tickets in advance and pay for them on the day of the show. Doors open a half hour before the show.
For cabaret dinner theater shows, the theater seats about 70. Theatergoers bring food and dine before the performance. Doors open about an hour before those performances.
Past productions have included Grease, The Secret Garden, Oliver!, 12 Angry Men, Love Letters and Arsenic and Old Lace. Visit the website for information about the current or upcoming seasons.
