Located in Hamden's North End section, off Shepard Avenue, Carrot Patch is a first-rate early learning center, where children thrive in a fun, learning-centric environment. Carrot Patch's philosophy is "play with a purpose," and the center's children engage in nature-friendly activities, such as leaf walks, autumn scavenger hunts and various art projects using natural objects.
The center is run by administrative director Suzanne Miller, a former Connecticut assistant attorney general and mom of two with a background in non-profit management and child welfare.
