Home to the town's only public pool and located right on the water's edge, Byram Beach is quite a hot spot during the summer months. The 20-acre park is open year round, though Park/Beach Passes are required from May 1 to October 31. The pool opens the weekend before Memorial Day and stays open through Labor Day.
There are designated swim times for adult, family and seniors. Lighted tennis courts, a playground, and the town's only lighted ball field are also found at the Shore Road beach. As is the case at all Greenwich beaches, dogs are not allowed during the summer months and must be leashed from December 1 to March 31.
