The brownstone quarries, a national historic landmark, have been leased for development as a recreation center and is operated by Brownstone Exploration and Discovery Park with the hope that awareness of the historic landmark will strengthen the local economy.
Each year seems to include new additions to the park, including a giant water slide and other inflatable toys, kayaks and water balls.
