The Berlin Senior Center is a vibrant place for the town's senior citizens to meet and interact. The Community Services Department runs programs on a daily basis for seniors including Bingo, Whacky Whist and Wii contests. Other popular programs run by the Senior Center include: Assistance with Forms, Coffee Hour, Computer availability, Energy assistance, in-house library and help with seniors' tax returns.

Town of Avon Senior Center

The senior center is located at Sycamore Hills Park, abutting the Sycamore Hills Recreation Area. The mission statement of the senior center states that the staff at the senior center aims to "enhance the quality of life for all Avon senior residents" and support "the social, educational, physical and psychological needs of all senior residents" through activities and counseling services. Alan E. Rosenberg is the director of social services, the seniors' municipal representation. Jennifer Bennett is the center coordinator. According to the senior center website, the center provides medical programs for seniors, including foot care clinics on the first Monday of the month from 9am to noon and blood pressure screenings on the second Monday of the month from 11am to 1pm. Seniors can also socialize at community lunches on Tuesdays and Thursdays for a suggested donation of $2. New players are invited to joing the veteran players at bridge on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:45pm to 3pm and setback on Wednesdays from 1pm to 3pm. The senior center also has a pool table, and there are games on Thursdays from 9:30am to 10:30am and Wii bowling on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Stamford Senior Center

Located in Stamford, the town's Government Center is a community resource building that is responsible for the welfare, maintenance, preservation and well-being of all citizens and town matters. This establishment is responsible for licenses, permits, forms, charters, codes and ordinances, among other items. Government Center is also home to the Mayor's office, Board of Finance, Board of Representatives, Public Safety, City Operations, Legal Affairs, Stamford Public Schools and Administration.
