Walker Manufacturing is a privately-held, family-owned business that manufactures commercial grade riding lawn mowers and premium grade lawn tractors. Its sales policy is to sell through its distributors and dealers. Walker has a 25 year history manufacturing mowers. Walker Manufacturing has no public offering of its stock. Walker mowers are competitively priced on the market with other commercial grade riding lawn mowers and premium grade lawn tractors. The first Walker prototype was built in 1977. The company was headed by Max Walker until the 1990s and is currently run by his two sons.
