History
The concept of what is today's Village Pub began in an adjoining, dilapidated building in Saguache's struggling (but up-and-coming) business district. Scott and Pearl Alexander, along with Joel and Amber Johnson, stood in front of those buildings and shared a common vision and began to do the work to make it a reality. Shortly after, Joel and Amber were blessed with their second child and Joel began a career in teaching and coaching football. This unfortunately took them from the shared vision and left Scott and Pearl to spend the next few years to see the dream become a reality. Soon an abundance of opportunity took Scott and Pearl away from the Village Pub after being open for four short months. Joel and Amber got an email from Scott and Pearl giving them the opportunity to take over the great businesses that Scott and Pearl had created. What you see, taste and experience is that vision with the love and passion that Joel and Amber have brought to this great foundation.
