HistoryGallery director/owner Alicia Bailey has been involved in publishing and selling limited edition bookworks since 1995 and has acted as independent curator in the genre since 2000. Abecedarian Gallery opened in 2007 as a small showroom for bookworks, then in 2008 moved tothe current location, a space that includes both a reading room and exhibition space for related artworks.SpecialtiesAbecedarian Gallery exhibits and represents artists working across a variety of disciplines with particular focus on contemporary book arts, works on paper, collage and assemblage. Abecedarian is one of very few galleries worldwide that exhibits and sells artists' books. Gallery director Alicia Bailey has extensive knowledge in the field and works with private, institutional, academic and public collections to locate works that meet specific collection criteria.
