The Block's shared-use kitchen provides access to the only commercial kitchen infrastructure that serves rural and underserved entrepreneurs of Northeast Colorado. Specifically located in Fort Morgan, The Block supports rural economic development through food systems and food entrepreneurship that span throughout 6 surrounding counties, if not more. The commissary aids in developing our local food network, and shortens supply chains which promotes residents to stay and contribute to our community instead of having to rely on the more populous front range. The Block serves as an event space, including 5 areas with varying accommodations. The front area of the building is dedicated to 3 community spaces known collectively as The Commons, and divided into the Prairie, Plains and Sunroom.
