We work with world-class manufacturers of Electro-Mechanical Components, Passive Components, & Electronic Packaging Hardware, to provide our customers with the best design, highest quality, & time sensitive delivery. Most of our factories have production in Asia, providing our customers with prices that enable them to compete in the global marketplace. SummitWest Marketing's customer base consists primarily of OEMs and distributors doing business in the telecom, computer peripheral, instrumentation, contract manufacturing, and medical equipment markets. Our territory is very diverse, having many small and mid sized electronic component users as well as larger multi-national companies, where the sales process can be more complicated, involving a considerable investment in design and qualification time. A highly educated work force in the Rocky Mountain West provides an intellectual resource that attracts and supports research and development, scientific discovery, and encourages the entrepreneurial spirit. SummitWest Marketing has a fully equipped office centrally located in Colorado's hi-tech corridor, in Frederick, Colorado. Two inside sales and support people and four outside sales representatives provide outstanding and consistent customer service. A full time sales representative operates a branch office in Sandy, Utah serving Utah and Idaho. Networked offices and real time customer relationship management ( CRM ) allows for collaboration and timely management of the sales process throughout the entire cycle. T-1 lines move large data files quickly. EDI compliments our production planning & scheduling capabilities. Cell phones and PDAs mobilize the offices. Our major strengths are the sales skills, product knowledge, and attitude of the outside sales staff and the excellent highly competent inside support team. Each outside salesperson has extensive selling experience in this market ( 82 years combined ), which translates into excellent customer relationships and knowledge of the key accounts in the territory. The inside sales people with 29 years of combined manufacturer's representative experience, add a dimension of service not usually available in this business, including order management, sample and quote generation, and opportunity tracking.
