It was not until I had my third knee surgery that I developed a passion for nutrition and fitness. After spending countless hours with physical therapists and observing how passionate they were with my physical recovery, it inspired me to pursue a career in the health and fitness industry. I focused on sports nutrition and nutritional information since it seemed to be the missing link in so many people's lives. After competing and winning my first body building show, the course was set with nutrition. Going ATP in Centennial combines all the components in overall health including exercise training, educating clients on the most complicated and misunderstood element of health which is nutrition and how stress undermines both good nutrition and exercise. It can be difficult to eat well consistently while maintaining a stress free environment. It is important to understand stress and plan for the opportunity to make the right decisions to maintain and control your environment for optimal results. Well that is just it; you are not going to not eat during those moments in the day, but what you do reflects your health for the future. You might not feel it today, but in the given week, month, or even 10 years from now your body will start to break down due to lack of nutrients.
