Smoky Hill High School, founded in 1974, offers education to students in grades nine through 12. It has an enrollment of more than 2,500 students and is affiliated with Cherry Creek School District. The school s curriculum includes a variety of subjects, such as applied technology, business education, family and consumer studies, English, mathematics, science, computers, and health and physical education. It provides various extracurricular activities to students, including the National Honor Society, debates, dramatics, fine and performing arts, forensics, knowledge bowl, school newspaper, jazz band, orchestra, yearbook, and key and chess clubs. It has a library that offers various books, magazines, study materials and Internet access to students. Smoky Hill High School is located in Aurora, Colo.
