Telluride School District provides a variety of educational and extracurricular programs to students through its elementary, middle and high schools. The school s curriculum includes English, language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, art, computer technology and physical education. It offers advanced placement courses for grades nine through 12 in subjects, including calculus, statistics, chemistry, physics, studio art, English composition and literature. It has a parent-teacher association that involves parents in various educational activities of the school. It provides a variety of sports activities, including volleyball, soccer, basketball, track, alpine and freestyle skiing, snowboarding, and hockey. The institution also offers computer laboratory and library facilities, and cafeteria and transportation services to its students. Located in Telluride, Colo., the district has a partnership with the Telluride Ski and Golf Company to provide students with ski and snowboarding physical education program.
