Established in 1972, Niwot High School offers a variety of educational and enrichment programs to more than 1,200 students enrolled in grades nine through 12. It teaches various subjects, including English, Spanish, math, science, social studies, industrial technology, health education, computer science, business studies, family and consumer science, music, fine arts, and physical education. The school also offers various sport programs, such as cross-country, golf, tennis, soccer, football, gymnastics, volleyball, softball, basketball, swimming, wrestling and athletics. It also organizes various extracurricular activities and students clubs, such as choir, band, book club, dance team, international club, technical theater, Odyssey of the Mind, school newspaper, National Honor Society, student council and yearbook. Located in Longmont, Colo., Niwot High School is part of the Saint Vrain Valley School District. It offers guidance and individual and group counseling sessions for students.
