History

Started as a regional history museum, its has now grown to include Dinosaur Journey in Fruita and Cross Orchards in Fruitvale as well as the Museum of the West in downtown Grand Junction.

Specialties

Follow the archaeological and history that shaped the West, from Native American pottery to firearms of the famous and infamous to a Cessna airplane used in Uranium prospecting. Survey the spectacular 360 degree view of the Grand Valley from the observation dick of the Sterling Smith Education Tower.
