History
Mr Weiss graduated from the CU with a B.A. in history. For a decade, he worked as a historical preservationist in CO, researching and writing about Colorado's historical sites. With a keen interest in the law and how it influenced Colorado development, he remained in CO, enrolling in the DU College of Law. During law school, Mr. Weiss interned for the U.S. Department of Justice, clerked for a professor at the College of Law, and worked during his law school education at one of Colorado's premier law firms. Upon graduation from the DU, Mr. Weiss was offered two judicial clerkships in Colorado's District Courts. He accepted the position as law clerk for the District Court, 4th Judicial District, State of CO. Mr. Weiss was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1986, followed by admission to the U.S. District Court, District of Colorado & the U.S. States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. He began work with one of Colorado Springs most accomplished personal injury law firms.
