HistoryCameo Electrolysis was started by the current owner's mother, Izetta Shonts in 1984 in order to help her daughter, Gezelle, with her extreme facial hair due to Poly-cystic Ovarian Syndrome. Izetta opened her business just as the current owner, Gezelle Quinn, gave birth to twin sons. Izetta successfully built and ran the business for 15 years. She then sold the business to her daughter-in-law, Beverly Shonts. Beverly ran the business for 13 years. Gezelle Quinn returned to Colorado in 2008 and purchased the business from her sister-in-law and has been serving her clients with great care and honesty since. In 2019 Gezelle's husband, Tracy, joined Cameo and has been doing outstanding work since.SpecialtiesBeing one of the few certified professionals is Electrolysis in the area, I pride myself on honesty and integrity while delivering the ONLY permanent form of hair removal. Unlike laser, electrolysis can eliminate red, gray, white or any hair, regardless of color or size. I uphold the highest standards as a CPE and as a member of AEA and the Colorado Association of Electrologists. Gezelle truly cares about her clients, even before she meets them. Gezelle has developed her own technique taking full advantage of the computerized Apilus machine to treat, not only each client, but each hair individually as needed.
