History
Grand Valley Bank got its modest start in 1983 in a small, modular building on North Seventh Street, in Grand Junction, CO. It weathered hard economic times to grow to where it is today. In 1988, the current Grand Valley Bank building was built right next door to the old, modular building. The bank has grown from its original 12 employees in 1983 to over 90 employees today. We have grown from that single office in 1983 to 8 offices covering 2 states. We added our newest branch in Park City, Utah in 2012. The bank's success can be attributed to its conservative philosophy and its personal approach to its customers. New customers have been attracted because people like to do business at friendly institutions where they are known. Also, the bank's officers are most often long-time residents of the community they serve and know many of the local residents. The bank is locally, employee owned, so the officers and employees know the needs of the people in their community.
