As the first sod farm ever to solid sod an entire golf course, we continue to provide our customers with quality sod, as well as quality service. Emerald Sod Farms began turf/grass/sod farming operations in Colorado with the acquisition of 410 acres 25 miles northeast of Denver, next to Box Elder Creek. The creekside soil is sandy loam, which is the perfect medium to grow, harvest, and transplant turfgrasse/sod.
