History
Future Light was founded by Brad Polt-Jones in Los Angeles in 2002. The unique Future Light workshops were developed when he realized the classes he taught at UCLA were not meeting the needs of the rapidly evolving digital community. Future Light relocated to San Francisco in 2004 establishing an ongoing relationship with Calumet Photographic at their Mission location at 18th and Bryant. Since then, more than 5000 students have passed through our workshops. Future light offered some of the first classes in the US covering advanced camera Raw workflow, HDR High Dynamic Range photography, Apple's Aperture and Adobe's Lightroom programs. We are currently developing a spectacular series of travel workshops that will cover the globe. Future Light is proud to be a partner with Adobe Systems, NIK Software, Epson, and many other leaders in the photographic industry.
