Douglas County High School operates under the Douglas County School District. Located in Castle Rock, Colo., the school offers classes to more than 2,100 students annually in grades nine through 12. It provides instruction in a wide range of subjects, such as agriculture, business, consumer and family studies, foreign languages and industrial technology. The school also provides classes in language arts, performing arts, math, science, physical education, technology and social studies. Douglas County High School offers a variety of library and technology resources through its library and media center. The school also provides several activities, including athletics, music, drama and clubs. It organizes several sporting activities, such as baseball, basketball, football, golf, gymnastics, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball, rugby, wrestling and ice hockey.
