The Daily Sentinel has been western Colorado's chronicle of record since 1893. Published in Grand Junction, Colo., the morning newspaper is circulated to approximately 30,000 daily readers in a vast geographical area that ranges from the Wyoming border on the north, to Red Mountain Pass and the San Juan Mountain Range to the south, Moab and Grand counties to the west and the Roaring Fork River valley to the east. The Daily Sentinel is considered one of the finest mid-sized newspapers in the Rocky Mountain West, receiving the renowned John Hancock Award for Excellence in Business and Financial Journalism. The Daily Sentinel is owned by Cox Newspapers, a division of Atlanta-based Cox Enterprises.
