History
Crema Coffee House has been established by Noah Price in Denver to introduce consumers to the distinguished experience that fine coffee offers when crafted with the most limited amount of additives as possible (too much sugar, milk, cream, syrup, etc.) Most additives are simply a cloak under which to hide inferior coffee. Crema chooses to utilize only vanilla syrup, the finest caramel sauce and a single origin Ghana chocolate to accentuate the coffee's flavor rather than mask it.
Specialties
Crema is an artisanal coffeehouse; meaning that we look at coffee as both a craft and an art form. The coffee at Crema is made with either a French press or with a lever espresso machine. French press coffee creates a smooth, pure coffee flavor using a simple but effective process that doesn't pass through a filter so you don't lose those natural aromatic coffee oils. Most coffee lovers agree that this process creates a superior cup of coffee. So it is with lever espresso machines, known for their compelling simplicity of design and the unique flavor profile of the beverage they produce. The espresso making process of lever machines favors slow, thoughtful movements, an almost Zen-like moment of calm, focused creation. Pulling a perfect espresso shot from a lever espresso machine is a truly rewarding experience. The barista actually becomes a part of the brewing process. Lever machines also offer old world style and craftsmanship with the ability to brew exquisite espresso.
