History
John and Chris Gandomcar started Cottonwood Riding Club as the home of the Denver Polo Club in 1982. We started out with one horse in the pasture but we soon grew into more than that. With two young girls growing up at Cottonwood they made the decision early to encourage good horsemanship and to invite all kinds of riders to enjoy horses. The oldest Daughter had a knack for problem hoses and the younger daughter followed in the foot steps of her dad and is now a world famous polo player. The families' love of horses and their commitment to great care of both the horse and the rider have been the driving force behind Cottonwood Riding Club being the largest and most friendly boarding facility in Colorado. Our size does not mean you do not get personal attention we strive to take care of you like family and your horse like he is one of ours. We encourage you to simply stop by and say HI. We are open 7 days a week and we welcome you to join our family.
