History
CGP creates one to three major works each year, ranging from stage events to installation to film. Additionally, we regularly create mobile site and public space works. Our work has been presented by the Denver Theatre District, Denver Office of Cultural Affairs, The Biennial of the Americas, BINDERY|space, Boulder Fringe, ARTOPIA by Westword, and others. In 2009-2010 CGP directed The Packing House Center for the Arts. In 2011-2013 Control Group joined The LIDA Project to found work|space Denver, a black-box venue that presents local and touring performances that challenge boundaries and innovate in their mediums, approaches, and aesthetics. LIDA Project continues to direct work|space Denver as Control Group has headed into a new phase as an itinerant dance company and presenter.
