HistorySomeone asked me the other day how I became a wedding and portrait photographer. I have gotten used to this particular question, but my husband pointed out that no one really asks him why he became a mechanical engineer. When it comes to artists, everyone wants to know why and how! This is my story. :) I have always loved art. Painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, I could go on. Whenever my parents couldn't find me, you could bet your pay check I'd be off outside drawing somewhere. In high-school I began locally selling my work which led to a bachelor's degree in Art. In college I was given the opportunity to exhibit and show my work. I fell hopelessly in love with photography and began to save for my first DSLR camera. My dreams of creating my own business began to take shape and my husband I started The Lens and Palette.
