History
Jerry started B-I-T in December 1976 with partner George Poulos. Retail started in May 1977 and has grown in size and variety ever since. Poulos left the business that summer, and Jerry has made it his unswerving goal to provide the fines quality baked goods alongside an extensive food service menu. B-I-T serves more breakfasts than all of Telluride restaurants combined, and in recent years there has been huge growth in the grab-n-go eggs items in the hot case: Egg and meat or veggie filled bagels, croissants and burritos, croissants filled with turkey/swiss/green chili and spinach/feta. Every visit to Telluride deserves a visit to B-I-T or you have hardly visited the town.
