In December 2012, there were over 300 locations in the United States, Mexico, Venezuela, Australia, and Guam. In July 2014, Yogurtland celebrated the opening of its 300th store. By 2015, it intends to expand to over 550 stores. On 28 January 2014 Yogurtland opened its first store in the Middle East at Dubai Mall in Dubai, UAE. In July 2011, Yogurtland partnered with Sanrio, the company that created Hello Kitty. According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, merchandise such as key chains and T-shirts with Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters--My Melody, Keroppi, and Chococa--were sold in Yogurtland stores during August. The characters were also imprinted on Yogurtland's collectable cup and biodegradable spoons.
