The Woodstock Child Development Center provides child care and schooling for about 200 children from 18-months to 11-years-old (or through third grade). Part of the Alameda Unified School District since 1943, Woodstock is funded by multiple sources including the California Department of Education, federal and state child nutrition programs and parent fees. Woodstock is open Monday through Friday year round except for state and federal holidays. Parents must meet requirements for subsidized services in order to participate in low- or no-cost child care.
