History

1825 Encinal Ave has been the home of many unique businesses throughout the rich history of Alameda Island. It was established as Orange Salon in 2005 and in April of 2022 became Wild Orange under new ownership. The new owner Rachel Helzer, is a Queer hairstylist and entrepreneur with 16 years in the beauty industry. Rachel is excited to bring her vision of an eco friendly salon retreat to life in the space. Come as you are, relax and walk out fabulous!

We are a unique boutique salon specializing in hair care for all. We are a green circle certified eco friendly salon. All of our stylists have over 10 years experience. By appointment only. We look forward to meeting you and hope you have a great hair day!
